Seamless (OMX: SEAM ) is continuing its high expansion rate and launch the mobile wallet SEQR in Belgium. At a press conference in Brussels with bpost bank and McDonald's announced today the three partners that it plans to roll out the SEQR spring 2014.
The launch in Belgium is further evidence of our strong offering that represents a win- win-win for all parties. Bpost bank is still a large international bank that chooses to offer direct link between customers' bank accounts and SEQR . As in Sweden , retailers can look forward to substantial savings through the reduction of transaction costs , says Peter Fredell , CEO of Seamless providing SEQR .
Belgium is the seventh market where Seamless before SEQR . Other markets are Sweden, Norway, Finland, Kuwait , Malaysia and Romania. Bpost bank is one of Belgium 's largest banks and is represented in all Belgian cities with 1.1 million customers . Bpost bank also has a network of 670 post offices .
Thanks to SEQR 's complete payment solution , consumers can go from carrying around a wallet full of credit cards , loyalty club cards , bus cards and receipts to collect everything in a single mobile app. SEQR offers great savings for retailers and the ability to create value for its customers through a convenient and secure mobile payment.
As in Sweden , McDonald's is one of the first to roll out SEQR and plan to be live at all McDonald's restaurants in Belgium in the spring of 2014. The investment cost for the merchant is minimal since no hardware to install. SEQR integrereas with existing cash register system and merchant need only put up a sticky label with a QR-kod/NFC at checkout.

SEQR is very easy to use. The SEQR app scans the customer a QR-kod/NFC at checkout and agree with his personal code. SEQR works for android and iphone, ipad , ipod touch , and has also signed an agreement with Microsoft in 2013 to develop a compatible app for Windows Phone.
